The Polaris Project
The Polaris is based on the popular North Star by Laddie Mikulasko a fule plane from the 1980s
Steve Shumate has engineered a smaller version of the seaplane for a Park Flyer made from foam primarily Depron 6mm foam. With the use of foaming polyurethane glue the build weight can be kept quite low. The excellent handling characteristics of the plane make it fun to fly and it is beautiful to see flying in the sky.
